Do it today: Free Store @ The Horn

Who among us doesn't love free stuff?

Do you ever wish Kenyon projected a little more of that groovy ’60s counterculture vibe?

Also, do you enjoy acquiring possessions without exchanging currency for them?

If so, head to the Horn for today’s two-hour Free Store event. The Free Store, part of Kenyon’s sustainability initiative program, is a great chance to rid yourself of clothes, shoes, accessories and anything else that’s been cluttering up your room. Be warned, though, you’ll probably end up leaving with an armful of all-new stuff.

If you’re really lucky, you might end up with a sweet souvenir like this majestic palm tree, one of my own personal spoils from last semester’s Free Store.

If I had a dime for every time this large plastic inflatable palm tree has come in handy...
