Our dear friends over at WKCO are using old shoe-leather reporting tactics with a digital twist to snag high-profile interviews for the station, which has been trying to make inroads into non-musical programing for a while now with some success. The tweet you see above is one of at least a dozen directed at famous people (known in more concise, less sleep-deprived writing as celebrities) asking for interviews. As far as we can tell, they’ve gotten at least one “yes” back so far, and we wish them luck in their endeavor.

After all, if they’re successful, the Gambier airwaves might be graced with the dulcet and seductive tones of Ryan Gosling’s voice. It’s not just for Tumblr anymore!
