Here, The Thrill presents a few recipes to spice up your mealtimes using only ingredients found within the Peirce servery. This week it’s all about layering semi-solid dairy products. Has anything ever sounded more appealing?
1. Yogurt Parfait
Ingredients: Plain Yogurt, Blackberry Jam, Smart Start, Bananas, Honey
Get a banana and a spoon. Then, in either a bowl, cup or mug (but not paper to go cup because even though they have eco linings they’re still environmentally irresponsible) put down a layer of plain yogurt. Add a handful of Smart Start, a drizzle of honey, a dollop of jam and a few thin spoon cut slices of banana. Repeat until your container is full.
2. Ice Cream Parfait
Ingredients: Ice Cream, Peanut Butter, Oreo Cookie Crumbles, Caramel Sauce
In either a bowl, cup or mug (but not paper to go cup because even though they have eco linings they’re still environmentally irresponsible) put down a layer of ice cream. I used vanilla but chocolate is good too (and also “chocolate is better” says Slampiece). Putt in a few spoon fulls of Oreo bits, a spoonful of peanut butter and a touch of caramel sauce. Repeat until your container is full.
3. Soy Milk Parfait
Just kidding. But look how cool!
When the dessert station has pudding, that also works really well with yogurt or ice cream.
it’s v important to mix the oreo ice cream thing
