10 o’clock list: Best Comments

Comment Wars are the new AllStu Wars (via Wikimedia Commons)

We at the Thrill work hard to produce quality content that our readers enjoy. Sometimes we knock it out of the park, other times not so much. The only way we can figure out what works and what doesn’t is via feedback. That being said, there are a lot of you who have the same level of sass running through your veins as we do (or at least we like to think so). Check out some of our favorites after the jump.

  1. Anonymous: January Jones eats her own placenta. You’ve got to love it when our readers are more informed than our editors.
  2. Anonymous: Kluge wishes he were mean but he’s just a big softie! — Our readers often times encapsulate what the campus is feeling when they cannot find the words.
  3. Colleen: So much power! I’m helpless before your whining, Thrill writers! — Exactly the effect we thought we would have when we launched 6 months ago.
  4. Anonymous: These videos made me want to jump off a bridge.  Except the one with Kenny in it. Kenny is fucking hilarious.  And I’m barely even drunk. — Our commenters, like our editors, enjoy partying and blogging.
  5. Srsly: half of this should be on thrill writers’ personal tumblrs. — Scathing, but not untrue.
  6. Anonymous: Earth is erotic. — Readers know what they want and aren’t ashamed.
  7. Anonymous: On a list of phrases that make me cringe, “cup liquid” ranks pretty high. — We couldn’t agree more.
  8. Aaron: “The Horn Galley?” Good news! The Horn’s moved to the Kokosing and is now a boat. — It is becoming a reader hobby to pounce on our mistakes. (Full Disclosure: I make more spelling errors than any other editor.)
  9. Anonymous: Gourdzilla needs to die… It’s a waste of money and space. The servery is already too crowded, we don’t need a thousand-pound monster taking up more room. — Our readers did not share our feelings on that cuddly mutant gourd.
  10. TRUTH: HOW MUCH DID IT COST TO REMOVE THAT OBSTRUCTION? GOOD RIDDANCE. GIVE US MORE SCHOLARSHIPS! — It really cannot be said enough that our readers did not share our feelings on Gourdzilla.
