In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, come to the Community Foundation Theater in Gund Gallery (Ed. oh, you fancy!) tonight at 7:00 to hear photojournalist José Galvez talk about his work documenting Latino communities across the United States. He will speak about his personal experience growing up in Arizona as the son of a migrant worker, and the experience of Latinos in America and the various obstacles that they face. Galvez was also a winner of the first Pulitzer Prize awarded to a Mexican-American for journalism. Have too much work to come to the lecture? Then make sure to stop by the Gund Gallery lobby tonight where his photos will be on display.
