It’s the weekend, Lords and Ladies, and we’ve got a Weekend ProTip to help make your weekend even better (and cheaper). Have you ever gotten back to your room on a Friday or Saturday night and really wanted food? You usually end up ordering Papa John’s or Domino’s or Cove, don’t you? Well fear not, no longer do you need to waste money on delivered food, or wait for it to arrive. The Thrill has prepared a guide on the art of making your own food to consume later on at night. Check it out after the jump!
The sandwich made here was recommended to me by a friend, and though I have not tried it as it is meant to be enjoyed: after a good long night of partying, it was still pretty good when I ate it Thursday afternoon.
Step 1: Go to the section of the Servery that has bagels and bread, look in the top-left corner or on top of the drawers for the cinnamon-raisin-swirl bread. Take 2 pieces.
Step 2: Toast the bread.
Step 3: Put cream cheese on one piece, and a jam of your choice on the other half.
Step 4: Put the two pieces together, wrap them in plastic wrap if you have it, otherwise the paper from the Panini press will do.
Step 5: Save your creation in your fridge for later. Note: Try not to let too much time pass before you refrigerate your sandwich, otherwise the cream cheese will soak into the bread.
Step 6: Come back to your room later at night and enjoy!
I know this creation may not sound all that appealing, but trust me, it’s good. And it doesn’t require a lot of effort. It only needs to compare to whatever the Cove makes anyway. Happy Friday y’all.
