I love how regal and mature Patience looks. Her scarf is a refreshing sight amidst the usual winter pile-up of wool (not that I don’t love the art of layering, but it can sometimes be hard to break from the habit). I’ve noticed also a lot of girls wearing work boots, which is totally rad.

Edith’s coat was just too gorgeous not to photograph. I love how subtle aspects of what seems like her everyday grooming — side part, slightly dyed hair, one visible gold earring — work with how casually she’s wearing her coat. It’s a simple, natural way to work with special pieces.

I suppose the theme this week seems to be “how to look put-together without stress.” Especially in winter when the weather can be such a hindrance I think this is super important to keep in mind. Stay warm, stay cool y’all.
