As some of you may know, today marks Kenyon’s celebration of the 1987 Oscar win of celebrated alum, actor, snack magnate and all-around h@wtie Paul Newman ’49. If you’re a Newman purist who chooses to celebrate this momentous day with some good, clean fun, here’s a link to his biography, available now on Amazon. If you prefer to honor Paul (yes, I call him Paul, we’re tight like that) the Kenyon way by engaging in Newman Day shenanigans, chances are that at 7:00 p.m., you’re already too incoherent to read this. Go lie down.
Alas Kenyon celebrates Newman Day on the wrong day.
Besides, REAL Newman Day (4/24) is in between Shock Your Mom and Sendoff.
Make it a week of winning, Lords/Ladies/Kenyon-Purple-Persons.
Thank you, anonymous, for backing me up here. I will definitely join you on 4/24.
We only have a day for this great man?
Anything else?
Shouldn’t it be 24 in a case? Was he already enebriated when he made that comment, if factual?
I’d like to point out that Paul Newman hated this thing (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/3652179.stm) so if you want to be an idiot and bring your beer to Peirce, I suppose that’s your prerogative, but don’t claim to be honoring Paul Newman.
Newman Day honors Paul Newman, whether he likes it or not. Ungrateful old fart.

Kenyon celebrates Newman Day on the correct day.
yeah. this is actually kenyon’s douchiest tradition. the man’s kid died of substance abuse. Pick a different reason to excuse your alcoholism.
Thank you
You are unquestionably the most repulsive person whose comment I’ve ever had the displeasure of reading. I hope you have many loud, obese children.
nobody gonna mention Peter Falls striking resemblance to hipster Paul Newman?
