Unfortunately, the Nuge isn’t actually hanging out in Copenhagen (as far as I know). But while visiting the Bertel Thorvaldsen Museum the other day, I did notice this sculpture of what could very well be one of S. Georgia Nugent’s illustrious ancestors. If Denmark’s greatest sculptor immortalized the Nuge in marble, I wonder who it was who immortalized her on canvas?
