An athletic explosion occurred this weekend as both men’s and women’s tennis began their respective seasons, sending all of Kenyon’s varsity sports into full swing for the fall. Here are the results:

Women’s Cross Country: at the Pre-Regional Knight Invite; placed 4th

Men’s Cross Country: at the Pre-Regional Knight Invite; placed 8th

Women’s soccer: vs. Carnegie Mellon University; L 0-1

Field Hockey: at DePauw University; L 0-1

Volleyball: vs. Muskingum University; L 1-3

Men’s Soccer: vs. the University of Mount Union; W 4-1

Football: at Earlham College; L 15-25

Sunday, September 15

Men’s soccer: vs. Otterbein University; W 2-0

Women’s tennis: at Oberlin College Invitational (Saturday and Sunday); strong singles performances by Taylor Diffley ’16 and Madison Hoffman ’16

Men’s tennis: hosting Kenyon Invitational (Saturday and Sunday); strong singles performances by Tristan Kaye ’16 and Constantinos Alevizopoulos ’17

Golf: at Allegheny College Fall Invitational; tied for 3rd after Day 1
