When the field hockey team whomped Wittenberg University 6-1 last Saturday, the efforts of co-captain Maddie Breschi ’16 shone particularly bright. Breschi scored two of the Ladies’ goals against the Tigers, bringing her season total up to six. She now ranks second on the team in goals scored and leads the Ladies so far in assists with four. Breschi’s performance on the field packed enough punch for her to win this week’s North Coast Athletic Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week award for the second time in her career. Congrats Maddie!
