On this rather bleak and desperate Sunday afternoon, what could be better than embracing the English tea time tradition? Not much. Hopefully, our beloved Peirce will comply and proffer miniature pies to the hungry and forlorn masses.
First, brew a tea of your choice in a plastic cup (for earth’s sake!). Next, while the tea is steeping, select a pie. The pie will conveniently rest on the rim of your tea cup. As the steam rises, your pie will be warmed.
Voila! Take your pie and tea to Old Side (for atmosphere) and enjoy as you frantically learn things.
Update: Peirce does not have pie at the moment. Similar method attempted with a leftover cinnamon roll from breakfast, with mixed results.
.
This is the best thing.
