It was a slow weekend on the court for sports, with just one contest taking place. Based on the fact that you could probably fill Tomsich Arena or McBride Field with the number of people who are in the library right now, I’d say that’s a good thing. Here’s the result of that game, along with a few other tidbits from around the athletic department.

Men’s Basketball

Dec. 13: home vs. Albion College; W 76-71

Men’s Soccer

After making it all the way to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Division III championship tournament, the Lords earned themselves a spot in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Top 25 poll, ending the year ranked at No. 14.

Football

Linebacker Kolin Sullivan ’14 was named to the Beyond Sports Network (BSN) All-America team, earning third-team honors.
