Meet a PC: Iggee Tianci Hu ’15

Every week, The Thrill features a member of a student-support organization to bring awareness about the various resources available to the student body on campus. Stay safe this weekend, and know that there is always someone you can talk to if you need help.

This week, we are featuring Peer Counselor, Iggee Tianci Hu ’15, from Wuhan, China.

Cookie pie or giant cookie?

I have never had cookie pie. :&

What’s the best meal you’ve ever had (excluding cookie pie and/or giant cookie)?

I had tons of real Szechuan food in a restaurant near Bryant Park in NYC.  Then I ate Mexican, and a box of Altoids.

What’s the last good book you read?

Rabbit, Run by John Updike.

Why do you love your hometown?

It checks my pulmonary limits.

What is your favorite place to nap on campus?

 Rainbow Chairs. :<

What movie have you watched most frequently and why?

Godfather 1 because it’s the go-to movie I watch with my mother.

Why did you become a PC?

In Kenyon, it’s hard to have distance with the person one talks to. Sometimes it is too intimate a place to have perspective. I want to be available if anyone has the need to talk to someone, who is beyond the periphery of her/his daily routines. PC as an organization facilitates this conversation. Also I think help and counseling resources should be more widely distributed.
