The Kenyon Mash

If your playlist for this weekend isn’t already set, consider adding this gem if you haven’t yet.
I was working in Higley lab, late one night
When my eyes beheld an eerie sight
For the students poppin’ tabs, began to arise
And suddenly to my surpriseThey were smashed, they did the Kenyon mash
Dressed so brash, they were in the graveyard trashed
They were smashed, then they started to flash
They were smashed, they did the Kenyon mashFrom my laboratory in South Quad east
To the basement of Old Kenyon where the noise increased
The fools came dressed as ironic toads
Hoping to get a jolt from some dude dressed as a bar codeThey were smashed, they did the Kenyon mash
Dressed so brash, they were in the graveyard trashed
They were smashed, then they started to flash
They were smashed, they did the Kenyon mashThe kids were having fun
The party had just begun
The guests included D-Cat and
ResLife, which made everybody runThe scene was rockin’, all were digging the sounds
P. Chase on chains, getting down
Campus Safety was about to arrive
With their musical group, ‘The Run and Hide’

They were smashed, they did the Kenyon mash
Dressed so brash, they were in the graveyard trashed
They were smashed, then they started to flash
They were smashed, they did the Kenyon mash

Out from their lair, the Old K ghosts’ voices did ring
Seems they were troubled by just one thing
Opened the door and shook their fists and said
“Stop puking in the bathrooms, you’re all pissed! ”

They were smashed, they did the Kenyon mash
Dressed so brash, they were in the graveyard trashed
They were smashed, then they started to flash
They were smashed, they did the Kenyon mash

Now everything’s cool, the ghosts joined in the fun
And the Kenyon mash played until the rise of the sun
For you, the living, this mash was meant too
But don’t knock on my door, unless you’re my boo

Because I’ll be smashed, in the graveyard getting trashed
But if you’d like to join me, sing the Kenyon Mash
Then you’ll find me, you’ll catch me in a flash
Then you can mash, we’ll do the Kenyon mash
