Do it Today: Vote!

I Ohio voting, do you? via watchdoglabs.org

If you’ve somehow avoided the news for the last several months, today is the midterm elections. Congressmen and women, some Senators, governors and state reps, and many other, more local, positions will be voted on. If you haven’t voted already, either through early voting or absentee ballot, and are registered to vote in Ohio, don’t forget to get out and vote today. When you go to vote make sure you have the utility bill e-mailed out by the Accounting office last week as proof of residency (showing the polling place workers the e-mail on your phone is sufficient).

  • What: The 2014 midterm elections
  • Where: Voting in Gambier takes place at the Community Center at 115 Meadow Lane (behind the KAC)
  • When: Polls open at 6:30AM and close at 7:30PM
  • Why: Democracy

  1. Just ten years ago, some Kenyon students waited in line up to ten hours to vote. Are you willing to wait ten minutes? GOTV!
