Humans of the Hill: Vol. 4

Inspired by Humans of New York, The Thrill documents Kenyon students as they go about their daily lives. Here we present our loving tribute, Humans of the Hill.

“What is the weirdest helpline request you’ve ever gotten?”

“Probably this one. This one was someone who wanted to find the Saint John’s Bible exhibit that was at the archives. I’m not sure if it’s still here, but they called  us because apparently we’re the number that’s on the college website to call about whatever. So that’s probably the weirdest.”

“So how long have you been involved with the outdoors club?”

“I did Pre-O freshman year, and it was chill, so I kept on doing that. I like hiking. And I like selling stuff, apparently. ”

“One of the Frisbee captains last year came down to practice at one point in a cut off polo, and I said, ‘How can you possibly play in that? It seems really hot.’ And he was like, ‘No, it’s actually really comfy,’ and he let me try it on. Since he graduated, I wanted to honor his choice with a comfy shirt to play Frisbee in. So I did that.”
