Henry Myers ’18 is a center midfielder on the Kenyon Men’s Soccer Team.
Q: How did you get involved with soccer here?
A; I actually got involved with sports at Kenyon because two of my siblings, Jonathan (’11) and Mary (’12) played soccer and volleyball respectively here.
Q: What’s your favorite part about being an athlete at Kenyon?
A: Getting close to the guys on the team is for sure the best. Having different upperclassmen to look up to and help me through the beginning part of freshman year has been fantastic too.
Q: Least favorite part?
Don’t get me wrong, road trips are great. But those looooong bus rides (I’m talkin six hours) aren’t necessarily my favorite things.
Q: Do you have any moments that stand out in your sports experience so far?
A: Thus far I’d say Nate Petrou’s last minute goal against Denison has been the highlight of the season.
Q: What was your favorite childhood TV show?
A: The Andy Griffith show. I used to watch those black and white episodes and they were hilarious.
