The flu is here! This is the biggest epidemic to sweep campus since Hand, Foot and Mouth, and the Thrill wants you all to be prepared.
First of all, check your e-mail, or check your spam filter for Student-Info:
According to the e-mail, Influenza has been here since FRIDAY, which means it has been here for at least three days. Estimates hold that we are only about four days away from living like this quote from Love in the Time of Cholera unless proper precautions are taken. Symptoms include body aches, headache, fever, chills, cough. The disease is spread through “droplets.”
In other words, please remember to cough/sneeze into your elbow-sleeve (see Figure 1), and drink lots of clear fluids if you feel you are coming down with symptoms (see Diagram B).

And for the love of all things, wash your hands as much as possible. That wasn’t included in the e-mail, but it is one of the most necessary parts of the “We Don’t All Come Down with the Influenza” process.
