Welcome Back, Turds

welcomebacktoschoolWe hope you all had tolerable breaks. For those of you who were off-campus last semester, welcome back to Gambier. Not much has changed (except for this).

We at the Thrill have undergone some staffing changes for the upcoming semester. Kate Lindsay ’15, having served us dutifully for a semester, will be taking on the role of “editor emerita” along with former Editor-in-Chief Emma Specter ’15. Your new Editors-in-Chief are Claire Berman ’16 and Jack Quigley ’16, along with the ever-humorous Annaliese Milano ’16 as our new Executive Editor. The team is hoping to make the Thrill better than ever before. To that end, we’d like to hear from you about what you want to see from us this semester. Feel free to let us know what you think either by commenting on this post or by emailing us at thekenyonthrill@gmail.com. For the particularly ambitious, the best way to instill change is to be the change. If you’d like to join the Thrill, we are accepting applications until January 20th.

Also we still plan on making tanks. Look for details on that in the next two weeks.

That is all.

Welcome back!

  1. All the image macro-based posts you guys tend to churn out need to go. If I want to see that third-rate bullshit, I’ll go to buzzfeed. Those posts are the work of lazy and uninspired writers. If there is nothing to report on, you do not need to post. A series of gifs that describes how you feel about finals is not clever; it’s banal. By and large, it is the quality rather than the regularity of posts that is the problem.
