Winter Break Sports Roundup

You may have been taking a break, but sports never stop. The basketball players got their heads back in the game right after the holidays, playing some nationally ranked NCAC rivals. The swimmers traveled down south to train in Sarasota, Florida. And two runners participated in two different meets to start the year off on the right foot. Here’s what happened:

December 20th

Men’s Basketball at Earlham College: WIN 79-63

December 29th

Women’s Basketball vs. College of St. Scholastica (at Music City Classic): Loss 42-43

December 30th

Women’s Basketball vs. Luther College (at Music City Classic): Loss 48-75

January 2nd

Men’s Basketball vs. Johns Hopkins University (at Johns Hopkins University Tournament): Loss 45-80

January 3rd

Men’s Basketball vs. Randolph College (at Johns Hopkins University Tournament): Loss 60-74

Women’s Basketball vs. Ohio Wesleyan University: Loss 43-51

January 7th

Men’s Basketball at College of Wooster: Loss 63-77

Women’s Basketball vs. Oberlin College: Loss 40-56

January 10th 

Men’s Basketball at DePauw University: Loss 37-53

Women’s Basketball at DePauw University: Loss 39-72

Sam Lagasse ’16 in the 3000 meter run at University of Southern Maine Open: 2nd Place

Noah Winters ’15 in the 400 meters at University of Akron PV Convention Open: 10th Place
