Welcome to another year of lovin’ on our respective honeys, Kenyon! I’m sure you’re anxious to receive some more super sensuous advice, so I’ll cut right to the chase.

Having sex is tough work. Top, bottom, middle, side – no matter the position, doing the nasty takes a substantial amount of muscle. Everyone needs a little something to get themselves pumped up before the act or to put some fuel in their tank after the deed is done. If you’re searching for the perfect sex boost, have no fear! I’m here to point you towards the foods that will get you where you need to go.

Pre-Sex Pick-Me-Up: Nutty Granola Bars and Fruit

Not only are these the ingredients for a super energizing breakfast; they also perfectly compliment your impending freakulation! Fruit can make both male and female sex juices taste better (yes, that old pineapple juice myth is popular for a reason) and healthy grains and nuts contain good fats that’ll help keep you going for as long as is necessary. This snack is also free of dairy, meat and coffee, which can lead to foul tastes downstairs and, at least in the case of coffee, cause a crash after the energizing effects wear off.

Mid-Sex Snack Break: Hummus and Crackers

First of all: the mid-sex snack break should totally become a thing. It’s bound to make a great thing even better, am I right? Secondly, this snack is packed with protein and will satiate and reenergize you without making you feel full and sleepy. And thirdly (and possibly most importantly), chickpeas are sure to chickplease.

Post-Coital Munchies: Peppermint Tea and Dark Chocolate

After you and your partner have reached your satisfaction, it’s time to relax. The scent and warmth of peppermint tea are sure to soothe while the ingredients in dark chocolate have been proven to reduce stress hormone levels. Ride that post-sex wave of oxytocin, snuggle up to your special friend and enjoy the rest of your time together. Aftercare is super important!

    • 1) Hummus with garlic makes one’s breath smell bad, but not all hummus has garlic.
      2) People can get out of their bed to eat before, in the middle of, and after sex if they want to. Also, you seem to assume that people only have sex in their beds, this is not the case.
