Softball is back on campus. Damage to the fields has kept the Ladies from playing any home games so far this season, but now it appears that all systems are go. The Ladies will host the Hiram College Terriers for their home-opening doubleheader. The first game will start at 3:30 this afternoon. Head on down to the softball complex to support the team!

Records in softball and other sports fell over the course of last week. Here’s what you might have missed.


Men’s Lacrosse vs. The College of Wooster: WIN 15-8


Women’s Tennis vs. Gustavus Adolphus College (at Midwest Invitational): Loss 2-7

Women’s Tennis vs. Kalamazoo College (at Midwest Invitational): Loss 3-6


Baseball vs. The College of Wooster (DH): Loss 4-6 (Game 1), WIN 6-4 (Game 2)

  • In the second game of the series, Jake Dunn ’15 got his 200th career hit to break Kenyon’s career hits record.

Men’s Lacrosse at Wittenberg University: Loss 4-10

Women’s Lacrosse vs. Allegheny College: WIN 23-12

  • It was Senior Day, but a first-year was the star. Kat Englert ’18 scored 11 goals, breaking Kenyon’s previous single-game record of nine. Englert now has 42 goals this season, and currently leads all players in the NCAC in goals.

Softball at Oberlin College (Double Header): Loss 2-3 (Game 1) WIN 15-6 (Game 2)

  • Maddy Stark ’15 broke two records over the course of the day. She became the Kenyon career-leader in at-bats, with 494, and runs scored, with 106. Kenyon’s previous leader in runs scored was current softball head coach Erin O’Neill ’02.

Women’s Tennis vs. Augustana College (at Midwest Invitational): WIN 5-4

Men’s Track and Field at Marv Frye Invitational: 12th Place

Women’s Track and Field at Marv Frye Invitational: 10th Place


Baseball vs. The College of Wooster (DH): Loss 16-17 (Game 1), Loss 19-16 (Game 2)

Men’s Tennis vs. Carnegie Mellon University: WIN 6-3


Golf at OWU Strimer Memorial Invitational: 1ST PLACE
