Allison Janney ’82, was announced as a member of the Class of 2016 to receive a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.
Allison Janney has made huge strides so far as an actress. Six-time Emmy Award winner and two-time Tony Award nominee, Janney has continuously worked as an actress in television, film, and on the stage. Arguably one of Kenyon’s most distinguished and talented alumni, Janney recently was awarded a special honor that recognizes her hard work, dedication, and talent. In 2016 Janney will receive a star on the Walk of Fame for her work in television. Janney joins fellow Kenyon alumni Paul Newman ’49 and Jonathan Winters ’50 on this coveted star-studded path. Janney currently stars on “Mom” and her credits include “The West Wing,” “Masters of Sex,” “American Beauty,” “Juno,” “Finding Nemo,” and “10 Things I Hate about You.”
