Meet an SMA: Nick Massari ’18
The Thrill spotlights a Sexual Misconduct Advisor regularly to raise awareness about the resources available to survivors of sexual assault. Remember, the SMAs are subordinate to the Counseling Center, so anything you tell them is kept confidential. They also have an anonymous hotline you can call if you need assistance: 740-358-1544. Stay safe this weekend, and know that there is always someone you can talk to if you need help. Today, we’re featuring Nick Massari ’18 from Los Angeles, CA.
Cookie pie or giant cookie?
What’s the best meal you ever had?
Every caprese sandwich I ate in Italy. Mozzarella is my JAM.
What’s the last good book you read?
This is kind of cheating, but I bought Hitchcock by Truffaut over Thanksgiving break. Though I haven’t finished yet, I’ve looked through it like thirty times and 10/10 recommend based on what I’ve read so far.
What’s your favorite part about your hometown?
The beach, Mexican food, and everyone’s relatively high levels of “chill.”
Favorite napping spot on campus?
What movie have you watched the most frequently?
I’ve been watching Ratatouille in 10-minute increments throughout the semester. I think I have like 7-minutes left. I don’t particularly like this movie and don’t know why this is happening.
Why did you become an SMA?
To offer my ears and to direct my energy towards giving everyone the respect, attention, and support they deserve.
