Meet an SMA: Claire Koelling ’19

The Thrill regularly spotlights a Sexual Misconduct Advisor to raise awareness about the resources available to survivors of sexual assault. Remember, the SMAs are subordinate to the Counseling Center, so anything you tell them is kept confidential. They also have an anonymous hotline you can call if you need assistance: 740-358-1544. Stay safe this weekend, and know that there is always someone you can talk to if you need help. Today, we’re featuring Claire Koelling ’19 , an Art History major from Ann Arbor, Michigan.

What’s the best meal you’ve ever had?
Chicken Tawook.

What’s the last great movie you saw?
The Lego Movie.
Your dream travel destination?
Amman, Jordan.
What’s the best class you’ve taken at Kenyon so far?
Moments, Memories, Mementos with Professor Heidt.
Why did you become an SMA?
I became an SMA because I strongly believe in sexual education and guidance at all stages of life and have a passion for supporting my peers and making Kenyon’s campus a safer place.
