Every year on the Thursday before Thanksgiving Break, Peirce takes on a task like no other: feeding the whole school and community a meal they’ll never forget, with courses and desserts aplenty. Here are some important Peircegiving Facts to keep in mind as you chow down on the best meal of the year. Here’s what you’ll encounter:

  • 130 turkeys raised by Kenyon students
  • 500 pounds of mashed redskin potatoes
  • 2000 servings of green bean casserole
  • 1000 servings of sriracha maple brussle sprouts
  • “Heaps” of cornbread stuffing
  • Unspecified but likely enormous quantities of sweet potatoes and scalloped corn
  • A lot of salad
  • Rolls and butter! Definitely at least several!
  • 100 pumpkin pies
  • 50 apple pies
  • 50 cherry pies
  • A big big number of chocolate, banana, coconut cream, vegan, and gluten free pies

Thanks Peirce!
