Chris Mosier at Kenyon!

Attention, everyone!!! Chris Mosier, U.S. Olympic athlete, is coming to Kenyon tomorrow! Besides being a member of the mens’ triathlon and duathlon teams, he’s also the first transgender Olympic athlete to make the U.S. Olympic team. This event is hosted by Kenyon Athletes for Equality and Kenyon Student Athletes!

 

Mosier is also a trans and queer activist. He founded transathlete.com, an organization that provides information about inclusivity of trans folks at various levels of competitive play. He has won various awards, including the 2013 Athlete of the Year at the Compete Sports Diversity Awards in LA, the Trans 100 list in 2014, and an inductee into the National Gay and Lesbian Sports Hall of Fame (he was the first trans man inducted).
