Wow, it truly is the end of an era. Whether that era was good or bad is not for us to judge, but for you, the reader, to judge. But please don’t tell us, we hate judgment. Either way, the reign of Nate and Elise is drawing to a close.
The Kenyon Thrill is a lot of things. It is a blog, yes, but it’s also a website, and that website needs a lot of time and love and care to keep it operating. We hope that we provided as much love as we could, and we know that all of our incredibly talented, funny, and mercifully patient writers and editors have put their love into the place, too. It might not be much, this little blog of ours, but it has truly felt like a home these past few years, and in the past semester we’ve done our best to treat that home right. We take out the trash and water the plants and pay the electric bill, you know, the works.
And at the end of the day, it’s been a labor of love, one we’re absolutely sure the new Editors in Chief, Colleen and Michael, will handle swimmingly. If there’s one thing that binds all of us together at the Thrill, it’s social anxiety love, and a whole lot of it.
And so we wish you a fond farewell, and a lot of love.
Yours for the last time,
–Elise and Nate, Editors in Chief
