Halloweekends have come and gone, and now it’s time for what you’ve all been waiting for: the announcement of first place in The Thrill‘s Annual Halloween Costume Contest!
But first, some honorable mentions.
Anna Kahle ’20 and friend dressed as Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy to “celebrate Halloween this year, and specifically to celebrate my ex-boyfriend getting married this past weekend!”
Anna Deryck ’20 showed up to Old K as one of those wacky inflatable tube men!
Suleika Abdourazak ’22 won our hearts as herself!
Stephanie Jordan ’20 dressed as a very accurate Serial Mom!
Eleanor Evans-Wickberg ’21 went as Sexy George Bush complete with socks that say “I did 9/11.”
Our very own Ellie Melick ’21 went as Shego from Kim Possible!
And new writer Sydney Schulman ’23 was a very convincing early 2000s Avril Lavinge!
And our winner!
Gracie “Danger” Gavazzi ’20 earned the big prize as Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery! Yeah, baby!
Congrats to all who submitted. Until next Halloween!
