mcpoyles

Double, double, McPoyle and trouble! Looking for a way to up your calcium intake and get frisky to ring in February? Well, search no further! Weekend Drink is back, and this week we are serving up a Bourbon Milk Punch that will get you to make out with your favorite cousin.

The Fixings:

  • 1 ¼ ounces bourbon
  • ½ ounce dark rum
  • 2 ounces milk (use cream next to the coffee machines from Peirce for a richer drink)
  • ounce vanilla extract
  • ½ ounce simple syrup (see note)
  • Dash of grated nutmeg

In a mixing glass three-quarters filled with ice (or milk ice cubes if you care about the integrity and potency of the beverage) , pour the bourbon, rum, milk or cream, vanilla and simple syrup. Shake with vigor for about 30 seconds. Enjoy with a light dust with nutmeg, and get your milk mustache on.
