DO IT TODAY: Political Science Comps

Politicon 2017 - Day 1

The Kenyon College Political Science Department and Satan have teamed up to provide us with the antiquated tradition, Comps: a two-day-long examination in which PSCI majors develop arthritic hands and the ability to graduate, but in the end, have nothing to show for all their hard work because it’s a test. Academia sure is sweet.

WHAT: Political Science Senior Capstone (comps)

WHERE: Hayes and Lower Peirce (barf)

WHEN: Today, 7:00pm-9:30pm & Tomorrow, 10:00am-12:30pm (actually awful)

WHY:

  • The department is making  you
  • So you can graduate
  • You’re still on the Quest for Justice
  • You’re a SOCY major and want to become a little more conservative and narrow-minded?
  •  The life of man is solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.

This post is dedicated to The Thrill’s Senior Political Science Majors: Colleen Kemp ’20, Lillian Fox-Peckos ’20, and Sarah Hoffmann ’20. Think good thoughts for them in this trying time.
