Halloween 2020 is in the books! Woo! I hope you all stayed safe while being spooky!!! Did you??? Did you stay safe??? Let’s not forget there’s a full-ass pandemic going on!!! Because it seems like a lot of people out there had some sort of mental lapse and thought it was okay to party with lots of friends just because a fun holiday rolled around. Now that’s scary, and NOT scary in a good way. Scary in a bad way. Don’t do that. Stop.
You know what else is scary? I probably don’t even need to say it. It rhymes with bthe bresdential belection. Bing bong. I hope you all have made plans to take care of yourselves mentally this week. It will be necessary. My plans include ordering a pizza, wearing sweatpants, and taking frequent breaks from news coverage to watch episodes of Lost with my housemates. Stay safe, take care of yourselves and others, and make sure you ~V~O~T~E~
How was my weekend?
- High: I turned 22!!! I can legally sing that Taylor Swift song now!!!
- Low: I got a sweater at a thrift store and my housemate put it in the dryer and it shrank to the size of a very small child.
- Buffalo: My Halloween turned very Lost themed– both my costume and my pumpkin were references to the early 2000s serial-drama-mystery-adventure.
How was your weekend?
“I was briefly around a college campus and developed a crush on every single college-aged man I saw during my time there… I am starved.”
“Screamed at the moon under a giant tree in a tiny park.”
“I dressed up like a dead bird.”
