(from the Kokes Fall 2012 Concert)
Just so you know, there is a Kokosingers concert tonight. Which is pretty cool. Those suits! Those voices! Simply magical. I mean we should all probably go to see a group that was featured in Liberal Arts (the one with Josh Radnor I think).
Get there early because seats usually fill up quick. Show starts at 7:oo, so yeah. In their words: “You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll have a valid excuse to put off studying even longer.”
What: Kokosingers Spring Concert
Where: Rosse Hall
Despite disagreeing for a while on the best way to pose in the above photo, these two juniors have quite a bit in common. Obviously (as it is a prerequisite for Doppelgängers) they look alike. The two said they are frequently told about how they look similar. Check out more after the jump! Continue reading
For the next few nights only the Kenyon Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, the Kenyon Film Society, and the French American Cultural Exchange program will be hosting five contemporary French films. Knowing nothing about French film, I will most likely pop in for at least 1 if not all of them. French Club will not be in attendance.
Each of the films will be followed up with discussions. While the first film was shown last night at the KAC, each of the remaining films with be shown in the Community Foundation Theater in the Gund Gallery.
- Where: Gund Gallery Community Foundation Theater.
- When: Tonight at 7:00 (A Cat In Paris) and 9:30 (Of Gods and Men). Saturday at 7:05 p.m. (Romantic Anonymous) and 9:30 p.m. (A Prophet).
See you there maybe? I’ll be the one with [insert French stereotype].
Admittedly, you probably don’t need me to tell you about this. As of right now, over 200 people claim on Facebook that they will be attending. Everyone wants to see a group of sharply-dressed young men arrange themselves on a stage and sing a medley of songs ranging from Top 40 to the classics. It will probably be adorable.
Mostly, I’m here to make sure you remember to get there early if you want a chance at actually glimpsing any of these handsome faces. The show starts, allowing for lateness due to Kenyon time, at 7:00 p.m. in Rosse Hall. You should probably be staking out your seat, oh, right about … now. Good luck.
