Coach Profile: Matt Burdette

Matt Burdette is approaching his nineteenth year as the head baseball coach at Kenyon, making him one of the longest tenured members of the athletics department. He has a long history of involvement with collegiate baseball, dating back to his days as a player for Kenyon’s NCAC rival, The College of Wooster. We asked Burdette a few questions in order to get to know this staple of Kenyon athletics a little better.

Kenyon Professor to Participate In Nerdtastically Awesome Conference

Tom Garvey, visiting assistant professor of classics, will be contributing to “The Influence of Greek and Latin Antiquity in Contemporary Science-Fiction & Fantasy Works,” which not only wins the award for “Longest Title,” but also “Title I Had To Re-Read The Most Times Before My Brain Actually Absorbed What It Was Reading.” This conference, which takes place June 7-9, will be held in both Rouen and Paris, France.
