Flash Review: The Rimers of Eldritch
Anyone walking in the general vicinity of the Gund ballroom for the past several weeks would have noticed a strangely-behaving group of people yelling at each other. The Rimers of Eldritch by Lanford Wilson is a terrible, depressing and overall misery-inducing play. That being said, you should definitely go see it tonight.
Do it tonight: The Rimers of Eldritch
Those Brave Potato kids just don’t stop, do they? The subject matter’s a little more serious this time around, though. Tonight and tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. in the Gund Ballroom, The Rimers of Eldritch goes up with a giant cast and what looks to be some seriously interesting staging. Written by Lanford Wilson, Rimers tells the story of a deteriorating Missouri town in turmoil over the trial of an elderly hermit.
