Good morning! Here’s what you missed while you were at Deb Ball:

The Lead Story: This week’s lead story belongs to our swim team, who spent the weekend at Division III Nationals in Indianapolis. Our Lords and Ladies performed valiantly in the pool, with the men edging out rival Denison by eight points to lock in first place. Our ladies finished in second place behind Emory University to take the runner-up spot. In diving, Maria Zarka ’16 won her second national title in the three meter board. Congratulations all around!

Do it today: Lords Football vs. Denison

This is it. This is the day. This is the Lords’ last regulation game of the year. But the season could go on. They could very well head to the conference championships, if this happens:

  • Kenyon (5-1 in the NCAC) defeats Denison (3-3 in the NCAC)
  • Either Ohio Wesleyan or Wittenberg (both also 5-1 in the NCAC) lose

Weekend Sports Roundup

We’ve entered into a bit of an October lull–fall sports are not quite over and winter sports have yet to begin. This late fall calm, combined with Hurricane Sandy, which (Ed. Who?) caused Ultimate’s tournament to be cancelled, has shrunken our Sports Roundup.  But while the Roundup may be short, it’s impressive nonetheless.
