Fall Dance Concert in Review


Last night was the first performance of the Fall Dance Concert. I was blown away by the diversity and energy of the show. The first piece of the concert was entitled “Coefficients of Friction” and it was choreographed by visiting choreographer Ellie Escosa Carter. The piece was a lovely start to the concert because it eased the audience into the dancer’s state of mind. I found the piece extremely athletic and animalistic in nature.  Continue reading

Come one; come all to the Department of Dance Drama and Film’s Fall Dance concert! What better way to take a break from studying than celebrating some of the incredibly talented performers that we have here at Kenyon? This concert is the accumulation of all the work that the dance department has been doing this semester, including performances from dance majors and minors. The performance will take place at the Hill Theater and tickets are $2 at the door. Can’t go tonight? Performances will be from 8:00 to 10:30 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Reserve your ticket now, because seats are going fast!
