Asha McAllister ’15, has posted a “Go Fund Me” page to raise money to help her repay debt and other bills. In her statement she says,
“I’m hoping that with the Give Me Five campaign… asking friends, family, and strangers for only five dollars that I can get my head above water. This money for my education will make such a difference in my life because it will allow me to breathe. It will give me independence and financial stability that I don’t have. It will allow me to pursue my dreams and create. Raising this money is what stands between me and starting a successful life as an adult.”
To help her achieve her goal, she needs to raise $10,000. So far family and friends have helped her get closer to that goal, but our community together can help her get even closer. To donate, visit her GoFundMe page here.
