According to the Kenyon News Room, Harvey Lodish ’62 will spend the next two weeks teaching an intensive course on current stem cell research. Lodish, a professor of biology and bioengineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is also a noted bio-tech entrepreneur.

During his two-week stay, the molecular biologist will also present two public lectures. One, part of the Biology Seminar Series, took place on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 4:15 p.m. in Higley Hall Auditorium. The other will be during Common Hour on Tuesday, Feb. 7, also in Higley. The presentation is called “My Careers in Biotechnology, Patent Law, and Economic Development.”

Fun fact! Lodish was also an Archon during his time at Kenyon!
