You may have been taking a break, but sports never stop. The basketball players got their heads back in the game right after the holidays, playing some nationally ranked NCAC rivals. The swimmers traveled down south to train in Sarasota, Florida. And two runners participated in two different meets to start the year off on the right foot. Here’s what happened:

Kenyon hosted the Total Performance Sports Camps (TPSC) Invitational this weekend at the Steen Aquatic Center, which explains why some of you might have seen random swim teams from other schools walking around. The Lords and Ladies held their own against the competition, some of whom came from Division I schools. Our other winter teams were off campus this weekend, but also had their fair share of successes. Here’s what happened:

It was a slow weekend on the court for sports, with just one contest taking place. Based on the fact that you could probably fill Tomsich Arena or McBride Field with the number of people who are in the library right now, I’d say that’s a good thing.
