The Lead Story: The Wall Street Journal first reported the death of Oscar-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman on Sunday afternoon. Hoffman, 46, was found dead in his New York City apartment of an apparent heroin overdose. The actor starred in films such as “Capote” and “The Big Lebowski” and appeared in NYC theater, namely “Death of a Salesman” in 2012.
