Good morning! Here’s what you missed while you were at Deb Ball:

The Lead Story: This week’s lead story belongs to our swim team, who spent the weekend at Division III Nationals in Indianapolis. Our Lords and Ladies performed valiantly in the pool, with the men edging out rival Denison by eight points to lock in first place. Our ladies finished in second place behind Emory University to take the runner-up spot. In diving, Maria Zarka ’16 won her second national title in the three meter board. Congratulations all around!

Good morning! Here’s what you missed over the weekend:

The Lead Story: The NSA isn’t just listening in on your phone calls, they’re spying on your online gaming, too. American and British intelligence agencies have been monitoring games like World of Warcraft and Second Life in order to intercept communications between criminal networks who might use the games as a cover, according to a new report by ProPublica.

The Huffington Post reports:

The spies have created make-believe characters to snoop and to try to recruit informers, while also collecting data and contents of communications between players

The NSA is all up in your data, again.

Good morning! Here’s what you missed while you were out partying at the Delt Lodge.

The Lead Story: The NSA, in its wanton desire to know all, has devised methods of foiling most internet encryption, the Times reports. The story emanates from classified documents leaked to the press by Edward Snowden, former NSA contractor and Russia’s least favorite US expat. The NSA has partnered with major American companies to accomplish its goals, though some of those companies remain anonymous.
