Welcome to Four-Minute Lectures. All semester, we will be bringing in professors you know and love to deliver Four-Minute micro-lectures for the betterment of our minds. They will encompass a wide variety of topics and departments.
This week’s Four-Minute Lecture is with Samuel B. Cummings Jr. Professor of Psychology Sarah Murnen. Murnen is a social psychologist who studies gender-related issues from a feminist, socio-cultural perspective. Specifically, Murnen examines how the status difference between women and men in American society might be developed and maintained through various gender-related behaviors.
