Attention, voters — TODAY (Oct. 9) is the deadline to register to vote in Ohio. If you’re not registered yet, don’t panic: Kenyon is sponsoring a free, nonpartisan shuttle service to the Knox County Board of Elections, where you can both register to vote and vote early. The shuttles will run continuously from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., leaving from the Peirce parking lot. No matter who you’re voting for, it makes sense to vote early: you only need a printout of your utility bill and the last four digits of your Social Security number, you can iron out any potential kinks well before Election Day, and you’ll avoid long lines like the ones that kept Kenyon voters at the polls all night in 2004. Today’s the day — the polls are open late, the shuttles are running all day and evening and the whole process will only take about an hour, so get out there and vote!
