So you all probably know the biggest sports news of the weekend by now: the Lords swimming and diving team has claimed their third straight NCAA Division III title, edging out Denison by 85 points. This is the 34th time in 36 seasons that the Lords have taken the championship trophy.

Arthur Conover ’17 and Harrison Curley ’15 are also both new NCAA record holders. Conover broke the NCAA-record time in the 1650-yard freestyle. Curley broke his own record in the 200-yard backstroke, which he set last year, and then broke two more records, in the 400-yard individual medley and as part of the 200-yard individual medley relay, along with with Kevin Magee ’15, Trevor Manz ’17 and Wes Manz ’15.

The Ladies also finished strong in fourth place, making it the 35th season in a row that they have finished in the top five. Diver Maria Zarka ’16 won her first one-meter diving national title in the process. Congratulations to all of Kenyon’s swimmers and divers!
