The Monday Catch Up

Good morning. You thought this week would be easy, but boy, were you wrong. So we’ve rounded up the top stories of the weekend so you don’t have to do it yourself.

The lead story: Rich people don’t like Obama anymore.

Everything else:

But the people of Puerto Rico (or at least the Republicans) love Mitt Romney. Mittens took the island’s primary with over 80% of the vote.

The family of 17-year old Trayvon Martin, who was killed by a neighborhood watch captain a little over three weeks ago despite the fact that he was not armed, is calling for an FBI probe into his death.

Apple Inc. will announce today what they are doing with their $100 billion cash balance. IPADS FOR EVERYBODY!

Long thing you need to read: The New York Times A1 feature on the life of Staff Sgt. Robert Bales, who is suspected of shooting 16 civilians in Afghanistan.

The weather: It’s time to break out those cutoffs you made over break because it is going to be warm this week (high will almost reach 80 degrees). After the rain dissipates by tonight, it will also be sunny.
