Over the course of her long career in academia, S. Georgia Nugent has had a lot of pictures taken of her. Most of them are pretty standard publicity shots (we still don’t know what she’s laughing at), but occasionally you come across something a little more interesting. Following in the footsteps of our colleagues at the Nuge’s alma mater, Princeton, here’s a collection of offbeat photos of our retiring president.

Not sure what’s going on here, but no one has ever been this happy about a large silver platter. (kenyonhistory.net)

The only thing that makes the Nuge happier than silver platters is meeting John Kerry at Commencement in 2006. (Greg Sailor for the Office of Public Affairs)
See that honorary diploma in his hand? Don’t let anyone ever tell you a Kenyon degree won’t get you a job.

The Wall Street Journal somehow acquired this photo of Georgia tap dancing.
(Here’s the related article that gives some context for that dance routine.)

More dancing! William Friedlander ’14 helps the Nuge show off some moves in a glittering golden gown at the first “Dancing With the Kenyon Stars” in Dec. 2011. (David Hoyt for The Kenyon Collegian)

Georgia shared the stage with Josh Radnor ’96 at the “Liberal Arts” premiere last September. Her sparkly black outfit stole the show! (David Hoyt)

At the Nuge’s final Convocation, the real star wasn’t the president or the dean — it was the floppy purple hat. (Becca Hafter for The Thrill)
This one comes from our friends at Fuck Yeah Kenyon Memes, and for those of you who don’t get the reference: enjoy.
Finally, based on last fall’s Little Face Mitt meme, Ben Ros ’14 Photoshopped this glorious work of art for us.
wait. this actually made my day.
I have stealth Nuge paparazzi photos
